By incorporating pedestrian and bike paths into its transportation strategy, Istanbul can build a physical and social infrastructure that optimizes the participation of all people, regardless of physical and mental disabilities.
Istanbul then would be not simply Europe’s largest and fastest growing city. It would be its model.

This Sunday, from City Walls to Sultanahmet

Saat 8.45te Karaköy’den vapur kalkacak, 9.17de Ayvansaray’a varacak. Geç kalırsanız Ayvansaray’da grubu yakalayabileceksiniz!! (benim numaram 539 304 49 44).

Sunday’s walk will follow the City Walls from Ayvansaray to Kariye and then head toward Sultanahmet by way of Fatih. Perhaps we’ll stop for boza at the Vefa Bozacisi!! We’ll meet at 8:00am in front of the Dia on Siraselviler. We’ll start walking at 8:15 sharp in order to get to Karakoy on time. Boat leaves Karakoy at 8:45, arrives Ayvansaray at 9:17. Those preferring to get a later start could take a taxi or bus to Ayvansaray and join the group as we begin our walk along the City Walls. My number is 539 304 49 44.
